We are running for seats on the Raritan Township Committee this year because we think it’s time to Re-Think how our local government can and should shape our community.  We are dedicated to protecting the environment.  We believe in fair and open government where everyone is respected and everyone’s opinion counts.  And we’re not afraid to say that Yes! government has a role to play in making sure we have the community we want and deserve.

Our opponents have repeatedly failed to make tough financial decisions and failed to protect our quality of life, as if everything will just take care of itself.  It’s time to elect people who aren’t afraid to make tough decisions and who know how to protect our rural character.

The Re-think Raritan platform:

• Return to fiscally responsible budgeting that doesn’t rely on gimmicks
• Provide real leadership on environmental protection and open space preservation
• Promote open government and citizen participation by webcasting committee and board meetings
