Did you know that any NJ voter can Vote by Mail? It true and there is still time to apply by mail or in person.
Follow these 3 Easy Steps:
- Download the Vote By Mail ballot application from the Hunterdon County Clerk’s website http://www.co.hunterdon.nj.us/pdf/elections/application-for-vote-by-mail-ballot-080509.pdf.
- Fill out the application and mail it in or deliver it to the Hunterdon County Clerk’s office at 71 Main Street, Flemington. You will receive your ballot by mail within 3-5 days; hand delivered applications will receive a ballot immediately.
- Fill out the ballot with your voting choices and mail back or return the Hunterdon County Clerk in person.
Some important DEADLINES to note:
- The deadline to apply for a ballot by mail is Tuesday, October 27.
- Ballots that are mailed in must be received by the Hunterdon County Board of Elections by Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
- Ballots can be requested in person at the Hunterdon County Clerk’s office up to 3 p.m. on Monday November 2.
- Ballots can be delivered in person to the Hunterdon County Board of Elections, Records Center, Building 5A, Route 12 County Complex, Flemington up to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday November 3.
The County Clerk’s office is open 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Extended hours are Thursday October 29 8:30 a.m - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday October 31 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
